Conference Theme: The Philosophy of Alasdair MacIntyre: Virtue, Traditions, and Dependency

Keynote Speakers:

Mark Murphy (Georgetown University)

Jennifer Frey (University of Tulsa)

We invite papers and panels on any topic in philosophy, with preference given to philosophy of religion, and very strong preference given to submissions that engage with the conference theme, broadly and globally construed. Long abstracts of ~1000 words are preferred, but full paper submissions of up to 3000 words are also acceptable. Submissions prepared for blind review should be sent to profericjsilverman@gmail.com by July 15, 2026. Decisions will be sent out by the end of August. We welcome contribution and attendance from individuals of all backgrounds and viewpoints.

There will be a $500 prize for the best graduate student paper. Students wishing to have their submission considered for this prize should indicate that in their submission.

The sessions for each paper will be 50 minutes. Conference papers should be 3000-4000 words for 20-30 minutes of reading time.
